On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, the Mathematics Education Study Program of Yogyakarta State University (UNY) received a visit from the Mathematics Education Study Program of Alma Ata University in order to sign an MoA (Memorandum of Agreement) between the two programs, laboratory studies, and academic friendship. The event was welcomed by Dr. Kuswari Hernawati, S.Si., M.Kom., as the Coordinator of S1 Mathematics Education Study Program of UNY, and Endah Retnowati, S.Pd., M.Ed., Ph.D., as the Coordinator of S2 Mathematics Education Study Program of UNY. Alma Ata University sent a delegation led by the Head of KJM, Dean of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Keguruan Sciences, Head of S1 Mathematics Education Study Program, and three lecturers. During this visit, the delegates had the opportunity to visit UNY Mathematics Education laboratories, including the microteaching lab, computer lab, and math teaching aids lab. The main purpose of this activity was to exchange knowledge and experience between the Mathematics Education Study Program of UNY and the Mathematics Education Study Program of Alma Ata University. Thus, it is hoped that through this exchange, there will be cooperation between the two educational institutions in an effort to improve the standard of mathematics education at the university level.
