On Saturday, August 24, 2024, a team of lecturers from the Department of Mathematics Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Yogyakarta State University, carried out a community service program for mathematics teachers who are members of the Senior High School Mathematics Teachers’ Association (MGMP Matematika SMA) of Wonogiri Regency, held at SMA Negeri 1 Wonogiri. On Saturday, August 3, 2024, the Indonesian Center for Cognitive Load Review held a symposium entitled “Developing Multimedia Learning Principles and Self-Efficacy in the Perspective of Cognitive Load Theory” at Grand Rohan. The event was successfully conducted and attended by 36 participants consisting of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students in mathematics education, as well as members of the public with an interest in education and Cognitive Load Theory.
