Webinar series #3: Math Learning Assessment Solutions during the Pandemic

On Saturday, June 26, 2021, the Mathematics Education Study Program FMIPA UNY successfully held Webinar Series #3 with the theme of Mathematics Learning Assessment Solutions in the Pandemic Era, this theme is divided into 5 interesting topics with resource persons in accordance with the expertise of the assessment research group, namely Prof. Dr. Heri Retnawati conveying the Latest Mathematics Education Assessment, the next speaker was Dr. Ir. Jaelani with the topic of Mathematics Learning Assessment during the Pandemic Period, followed by Dr. Elly Arliani, M.Si. with the topic of Remediation of Mathematics Learning during the Pandemic Period and Dr. Kana Hidayati, M.Pd. conveying the Implementation of Remediation of Mathematics Learning during the Pandemic Period, besides that there are speakers from practitioners who are principals and outstanding mathematics teachers, namely Mr. Wiharno, M.Pd who raises the topic Best Practice Implementation of Assessment during the Pandemic Period.

The webinar was opened by the coordinator of the S-1 Mathematics Education study program, Mrs. Endah Retnawati, Ph.D. and said in her remarks that assessment is a very important part of learning so that the theme raised can provide solutions to teachers' problems in online assessment during the Covid 19 pandemic. He also emphasized that there is still a next webinar series that raises themes no less interesting than today.

Webinars are held by utilizing the Zoom application, streaming Youtube, and live Instagram. There were 678 registered participants from almost all regions of Indonesia from practitioners, students, teachers and lecturers. This webinar is expected to accommodate and provide an overview of solutions that can be applied by teachers when carrying out learning assessments during a pandemic.  The participants were very enthusiastic and committed to participating in Webinar Series #4 which, God willing, will be held in July 2021 but only for mathematics education students and alumni. (Tim-Sy)
