On Saturday, August 3, 2024, a training and workshop activity was held for Mathematics teachers of junior high schools across Wonosobo Regency, taking place at SMPN 1 Sapuran. The event ran from 08:30 to 15:00 and was attended by 28 Mathematics teachers from 21 schools in Wonosobo Regency. The Community Service Program (PkM), entitled “Enhancing the Ability to Manage Diagnostic Tests with Quizziz and Developing Trigger Questions for Mathematics Teachers in Wonosobo Regency”, was carried out in collaboration with the Mathematics Teachers’ Association (MGMP) Pokja 3, which includes the subdistricts of Sapuran, Kepil, and Kalibawang in Wonosobo, Central Java.

The aim of this PkM was to train junior high school Mathematics teachers in Wonosobo Regency to improve their skills in designing initial learning assessments using Quizziz, as well as in developing trigger questions. The training began with presentations on the flow of learning objectives and learning goals, followed by a session on concept maps. This was then continued with a workshop on concept map development and group presentations, followed by a presentation on the construction of trigger questions, and concluded with a workshop on Quizziz.

As a follow-up to the day’s activities, participants were assigned independent tasks to design assessment questions using Quizziz, to be submitted two weeks after the event. The results will receive feedback and suggestions from the PkM team.
