On Saturday, August 7, 2021, the Mathematics Education Study Program FMIPA UNY has successfully held Webinar Series #5 which carries the theme of Practical and Current Mathematics Learning Media. The theme is divided into 4 very interesting topics, namely the Development and Utilization of Mathematics Learning Media delivered by Mr. Murdanu, M.Pd and is one of the UNY Mathematics Education lecturers. The second topic was the Practical Implementation of Geogebra School Mathematics Material delivered by Mr. Untung Trisna Suwaji, M.Si who is a Widyaiswara from P4TK Mathematics. The third topic was delivered by Mr. Sahid, M.Sc. Lecturer of Mathematics Education UNY with the topic The Power of Grid-paper. The next topic was delivered by Mr. Hadi Nur Rahman who is a student of Master of Mathematics Education UNY with the topic of Augmented Reality Based Media Development Examples.

The webinar was opened by Koorprodi S-2 Mathematics Education, Prof. Dr. Sugiman, M.Si. and said in his remarks that learning media that continues to develop requires us to continue to explore and develop our abilities in learning media, especially in the field of mathematics. He also emphasized that with this webinar the webinar participants gained additional knowledge and refreshed the knowledge they had gained in college. The knowledge gained is expected to inspire in making learning media or even become a research title or topic.

Webinars are held by utilizing the Zoom application, streaming Youtube, and live Instagram. There were 458 registered participants from almost all parts of Indonesia from practitioners, students, teachers and lecturers. This webinar is expected to be a solution to create technology-based learning media innovations amid the pandemic that is not over yet. The participants were very enthusiastic as evidenced by the many questions to all speakers. (Tim_Sy)
