The How To Run A Webinar activity is a webinar that is held to provide an explanation of how to carry out a webinar, starting from preparing the formation of the committee, making the program schedule, registering participants, to making and distributing certificates. This activity was organized by Mathematics Education FMIPA UNY as best practices after successfully implementing a webinar series in 2021. How To Run A Webinar was successfully held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 08.00-12.00 WIB. The implementation of activities is carried out online by utilizing the zoom application and YouTube streaming which is attended by lecturers, S-1 students, S-2 students and teachers from various levels. The event was opened by Dr. Sri Andayani. S.Si., M.kom as the head of the mathematics education department.

The first material was delivered by Endah Retnowati, M.Ed., Ph.D with the topic “webinar committee”. Endah Retnowati, M.Ed., Ph.D conveyed how to conceptualize a webinar starting from the formation of a committee, drafting, to evaluating activities and tips on building a work team. The material was continued by Heru Sukuco, M.Pd with the topic “participant registration”. Heru Sukuco, M.Pd talked about the process of making registration forms, disseminating information to payment methods. Then further explanation was given about the “schedule of events” by Dr. Syukrul Hamdi who explained how to compile a rundown of webinar events, things that need to be considered during the webinar so that the event takes place according to the rundown that has been compiled, and important things that need to be considered after the webinar. The fourth material was delivered by Hadi Nur Rahman, S.Pd with the topic “streaming”. Hadi Nur Rahman, S.Pd talked about the minimum specifications of devices that can be used for streaming, the application setting process needed, and technical problems that are often experienced and their solutions. The last material was delivered by Akmal Hibban Habibie with the topic “webinar certificate” and provided an explanation of how to create a certificate along with the required application / platform, tips for making a large number of certificates, and how to send certificates to webinar participants. This webinar is the opening webinar in 2022 from a series of webinar series that have been planned to be held this year. Hopefully it will be better than 2021 and all processes will run smoothly as part of the Mathematics Education Study Program Department's strategy to share knowledge and share the research results of the RG groups in Jurdikmat.
