    In an effort to adapt the curriculum to the development and needs of society, the Department of Mathematics Education conducts a series of curriculum monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities that are carried out regularly and continuously. This year, part of the M&E activities is a curriculum review workshop conducted by each study program in the Department of Mathematics Education FMIPA UNY.

    The Mathematics Education Study Program FMIPA UNY organizes a webinar series which is held every month. Saturday, August 6, 2022, Webinar Series #4 was held with the theme “Mathematics Learning Media” which presented resource persons in their fields. This event was opened by Mrs. Endah Retnowati, Ph.D who said that with the existence of Webinar Series #4, it is hoped that it will review the fundamental importance of mathematics learning media, namely to help students understand mathematical knowledge.     Academic Advisor (PA) is a lecturer who becomes a guardian for students to provide guidance, direction, or advice related to academic activities so that students can complete their studies on time with high academic achievement. Every year, students are scheduled to consult PA at least four times, especially in the context of filling out the Study Plan Card (KRS). In this consultation, PA and students both see the results of the study, evaluate, conduct dialog, and plan follow-up study plans.

    Saturday, July 2, 2022, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UNY has held Webinar Series #3 with the theme “Professional Fields of Mathematics Educators”. Mrs. Endah Retnowati Ph.D. gave a speech as the opening of this webinar and hoped that this event was an effort to contribute to improving the quality of education in Indonesia. The event was moderated by Dr. Dra. Raden Rosnawati, M.Si which went well and was full of enthusiasm from the participants and speakers.

               The Student Creativity Program (PKM) is a scientific activity competition organized by the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.
