Prof. Dr. Ekasith Samsook, on May 6, 2026. The academic event was held in Meeting Room 3 of FMIPA UNY and attended by lecturers and students from the Department of Mathematics Education.

Two faculty members of the Department of Mathematics Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) Sri Andayani and Wahyu Setyaningrum were officially inaugurated as Full Professors on Wednesday, 24 December 2025. The inauguration ceremony was conducted during an Open Session of the UNY Senate and was live-streamed via the official YouTube channel, @unyofficial.
