    The S-1 Mathematics Education and S-1 Mathematics Study Programs at Yogyakarta State University have successfully obtained “unggul” accreditation from BAN-PT dated May 5, 2021. The acquisition of the “unggul” status is also a proof of the quality and achievements of the two study programs under the Department of Mathematics Education, FMIPA UNY in advancing education and producing superior human resources.

    The Mathematics Education Study Program has long established cooperation with Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Malaysia. Activities that have been carried out include student exchanges for academic (credit transfer) and non-academic activities (comparative studies), curriculum benchmarking, lecturer exchanges (visiting professors), and organizing conferences.

    On Monday, March 1, 2021, the Mathematics Education Study Program, FMIPA UNY held a “Workshop on Thesis Topics in Mathematics Education” for Class of 2018 students, as part of the on-time study period program. This activity began with a description of the on-time study period program designed by Koorprodi Mathematics Education (Mrs. Endah Retnowati, Ph.D.), which is to facilitate students to achieve an eight-semester study period.
