    On Tuesday, November 13, 2018, KBK Applied Analysis and Mathematics Department of Mathematics Education FMIPA UNY held a workshop on Dynamic Systems. As for Dr. Fajar Adi Kusumo as the speaker was UGM Mathematics Lecturer in Yogyakarta. The activity which was attended by students of the 2015 Mathematics study program and the 2016 mathematics class of around 80 participants took place in the seminar room.

    The admission of new students of Mathematics Education Department class of 2013 as well as the opening of OSPEK (Orientation and Campus Introduction) at the Faculty level was held on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 07.00 WIB in the yard of FMIPA UNY. After the opening ceremony, it was continued with briefing to students by Dr. Sugiman, M.Si., Drs. Sahid, M.Sc, and Dr. Maman Agus Abadi.     A total of 19 students of UNY International Mathematics Education class participated in a sit-in program at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia for five days recently. The students were accompanied by Vice Dean I of FMIPA UNY, Dr. Suyanta and Coordinator of Mathematics Education Study Program, Dr. Ali Mahmudi.

    In general, learning mathematics both at school and at university has changed. Along with the advancement of information technology (IT), learning mathematics has varied, for example students are given reading references on the internet, even teachers in giving assignments to their students have also gone through the internet, and students also submit assignments also via the internet. Thus, learning mathematics will feel easier.
