UNY and UNNES Build Synergy in Implementing MBKM

Thursday, June 24, 2021, two departments of Mathematics Education, namely from UNY and UNNES, held a meeting through a zoom meeting to discuss MBKM benchmarking on each campus which was attended by the head of the department and all heads of study who are members of the Mathematics Education Department from two universities. Through this meeting, it is hoped that all study programs can provide opportunities for the implementation of the MBKM program. Here are some points of discussion results at the zoom meeting:

 (1) discuss cooperation strategies;

(2) equalize the courses offered in the MBKM program;

(3) offering a list of courses early to students from both universities that work together, and

(4). prepare a list of lecturers who are ready to participate in the teaching lecturer exchange program.

Through a common perception of the strategies that will be implemented in each study program, it is expected to maximize the implementation of MBKM. In addition, the strategies that have been prepared are also expected to be more useful and provide opportunities for the development of student competencies because they are supported by facilities, availability of information, and teaching staff / lecturers who already have experience and qualifications in accordance with the courses they teach. Therefore, all heads of study programs from the two collaborating universities have a commitment to continue to synergize and establish intensive communication through various ongoing meetings so that all strategies that have been prepared can be implemented properly.
