    Yogyakarta State University (UNY) has a long-term plan to become a World Class University (WCU). In particular, UNY is preparing to become a World Class University of Education (UKKD). One of the supports in realizing the plan is by improving the quality of lectures to the international level. The Mathematics Education Department of FMIPA UNY held a visiting professor activity to improve the quality of lectures.

    The Department of Mathematics Education FMIPA Yogyakarta State University held Liveworksheet and Quizizz training specifically for selected students who participated in the internship program on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. This training is one of the activities in the implementation of Community Partnership Empowerment (PKM) entitled “Teaching Modules and Digital Media Oriented to Literacy Skills as TPACK Development for Sleman Senior High School Mathematics Teachers ”.

    The Tri Dharma of Higher Education is the three obligations contained in higher education. One of these obligations is community service. In order to carry out the obligation of service, the Department of Mathematics Education FMIPA UNY held a Community Partnership Empowerment PkM activity. This activity targets MGMP of Mathematics for Sleman Regency Senior High School. This PkM activity was led by Mrs. Endah Retnowati, a lecturer in Mathematics Education MIPA UNY.

    The Ministry of Education and Culture launched an innovative policy in the form of Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) to produce graduates who are more relevant in their fields. In order to support this policy, the Mathematics Education Study Program FMIPA UNY collaborates with the Sleman Regency Senior High School Mathematics Teacher Council (MGMP). On Wednesday, July 26, 2023, a meeting to discuss the implementation of the cooperation was held in Session Room 1 FMIPA UNY.

  • Department of Mathematics Education FMIPA UNY Receives Visit from FKIP of Mathla'ul Anwar University (UNMA) Banten

    As an effort to improve academic quality, especially regarding the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Mathlaul Anwar University conducted a series of Field Trips to the Mathematics Education Department of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) UNY. The UNMA group arrived at UNY on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 12.30 WIB and was immediately welcomed by the Deputy Dean of FMIPA UNY Prof. Jaslin Ikhsan, Ph.D. along with faculty leaders and also by Dr. Sri Andayani, M.Kom as the head of the Mathematics Education Department.
