The Mathematics Education Department of FMIPA carried out Community Partnership Empowerment (PKM) activities with participants, namely mathematics teachers from members of the Sleman Regency Mathematics Teacher Consultation Meeting (MGMP). This activity was held on Thursday, August 3, 2023 with the title “Teaching Modules and Digital Media Oriented to Literacy Skills as TPACK Development for Sleman Senior High School Mathematics Teachers” which was attended by 30 teachers and 16 accompanying students.

This activity began with the delivery of material on the theory of mathematics education as a foundation in the development of numeracy teaching modules by Prof. Dr. Sugiman, M.Si. The next material is about the introduction of tools that can be used to create digital media by Dr. Sri Andayani, S.Si., M.Kom.

After the presentation of the material, a workshop on making digital media liveworksheet.com and Quizizz was also given which was guided by Bambang Sumarno, M.Kom and Dr. Kuswari Hernawati, S.Si., M.Kom. A total of 5 S2 students also accompanied the speaker to help the workshop progress.

This activity was held at the IDB Lab for Mathematics Education UNY which has a capacity of 42 computer devices. Teachers are expected to have direct experience and not just theoretical insights. After the activity was completed, it was continued with the teacher independently making media with the selected material guided by the student team. Through this activity, it is hoped that it can add insight to the Sleman Regency Mathematics MGMP teachers so that they can improve the quality of learning which affects student achievement, especially to improve numeracy skills.
