Workshop on Thesis Topics in Mathematics Education

On Monday, March 1, 2021, the Mathematics Education Study Program, FMIPA UNY held a “Workshop on Thesis Topics in Mathematics Education” for Class of 2018 students, as part of the on-time study period program. This activity began with a description of the on-time study period program designed by Koorprodi Mathematics Education (Mrs. Endah Retnowati, Ph.D.), which is to facilitate students to achieve an eight-semester study period.

One of the facilitation activities is to plan the completion of the final thesis by synergizing between supporting courses for thesis completion and disseminating thesis topics to all Class of 2018 students who are in their sixth semester. The main speakers in this activity were Prof. Dr. Heri Retnawati and Dr. Jailani. He both explained various thesis topics in the field of mathematics education. This activity was carried out virtually and was attended by 85 students. This activity was also attended by lecturers who teach the Mathematics Education Research Methodology course which is a prerequisite course for the final thesis. Similar activities will be held again as an effort by the study program to develop thesis research ideas for students in 2018, so that they can design the completion of the study period on time.
